Objective
I am currently enrolled in West Valley College’s Park Management Program and (with over a decade and a half of Customer Service Experience) am pursuing a career change into the field of Park Management. I am a hard-working individual who takes pride in performing each task with integrity, and to the best of my abilities. Responsible for: Providing assistance in the daily operation of the park by performing Visitor Service support activities including, but not limited to: fee collection for Vehicle entry, Camping, Day-Use permit, Annual Pass, and Firewood sales. I also register campers, group picnic users and check permits for special events. In addition, I perform various administrative tasks including Weekly Cash summaries, verifying and depositing receipts, and creating and maintaining weekly Camp Logs and Post Pad Markers for the campgrounds. I pride myself on being knowledgeable about the Park layout & its resources so as to provide directions to park guests as well as information on Parks promotions, brochures, and passes to effectively answer their questions both in person and over the phone. I take my role very seriously being the first point of contact for Park guests in the event of emergency and must be capable of performing Basic First Aid and contacting Rangers, Park Personnel, and County Communications via 2-way Radio. In addition, I also perform minor maintenance, housekeeping, and landscaping around the kiosk and other areas of the park.
